This is it! We are the Original Hawaiian Web Site Offering Delux Hawaiian Fabric Hat Band Leis! They also make great Wedding or Graduation Day leis! Our hat bands are all originals--they are not mass produced or imported from other countries!
HAIP Designs: Designed and handcrafted by our Master Hat Band Kumu from the Big Island of Hawai`i. Because of the many hours of fine craftsmenship that goes into each strand, only a limited number of bands are produced each year. No two leis are alike. Each is an original. and texture. The result is a magnificent formal piece that will last for many years or a lifetime. They are luxurious and full bodied--not loose and stringy!

General Specifications - Entire length of hat band (including ribbon tie): Approximately 51 - 53 inches. Thickness varies from 2 1/2 - 3 inches in diameter, depending on style and construction. Woven portion of fabric (that would encircle the hat's brim) is approx. 24 - 28 inches. Adjustable to fit most hat sizes. We use 3/8" Grosgrain ribbon (except where indicated) to ensure durability and life of your band.

For that special Hawaiian Wedding Theme, we now offer a set of two custom made Kukui Lei Necklaces, one for the Bride (made of our smaller Kukui Iki nuts) and the other for the Groom (made of larger Kukui nuts centered with a rare Koa bead).
