This Big Island-style Kuku Lei necklace was designed by our Lei Kumu (Master Lei Maker) of the Big Island. Strung on 3/8" black grosgrain durable ribbons (not satin ribbon or "stretch yarn"). The entire lei necklace is made of black Pacific kukui nuts except for a rare Hawaiian Koa wood bead positioned in the center. Each kukui nut is hand inspected for hairline cracks. Approximately 48" long including ribbon ties. Lei nut strand is approximately 26 1/2" for natural fit.
